Yes. I believe in freedom, justice, equality, and empowerment for all people. I believe in the global oneness of all humanity. I am an American.
I am a Black American who has experienced the fullness of God’s grace and love in the pursuit of prosperity and equal justice for Black Americans and for all Americans.
I have been and continue to be a life member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) since the age of 12 years old. I willingly affirm the joy and the sacrifice of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960’s, and yet that vital freedom movement continues today in 2023. I still believe that “We shall overcome.”
I have been blessed to have had the privilege in the past to know and to work with The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and H.E. President Nelson Mandela, as well as other freedom fighters in America and in Africa.
I have directly experienced the cold damp hands of social alienation and racial oppression. But I have also witnessed firsthand the triumph and victories for freedom and democracy when people engage ongoingly in social and political change.
I am active and committed to the core values of No Labels because I believe in the inclusive mission of this strategically important, diverse and expanding national bi-partisan, multiracial political organization.

We believe in American unity, democracy, and equal opportunity for all. We believe in mutual respect and responsibility. We believe in the Constitution of the United States of America and the universality of equal rights and justice for all.
We believe that this moment in American history requires those who care about the future of our nation to take action to oppose the counterproductive political divisiveness, hatred, violence, racism, antisemitism, and extremist polarization.
We believe that both bi-partisan and nonpartisan working together at the federal, state and local level is the best way forward toward 2024 and beyond. We believe that by working together we can and will help to shape a better future for the improvement of the quality of life for all Americans.
